Heralding WAAPA’s arrival in the city, Enter Coda is a thrilling double bill by two international choreographers. London-based Hofesh Shechter is recognised as one of the UK's most exciting contemporary artists, creating raw, physically vibrant contemporary dance works with charged, atmospheric music. An excerpt of Shechter’s Grand Finale will be restaged by Zee Zunnur, long-time dancer with the Hofesh Shechter Company in the UK. This will be accompanied by a new work by South Korean artist Pansun Kim, former dancer with acclaimed choreographer Emanuel Gat. Both pieces will be performed by LINK, WAAPA’s graduate dance company that tests limits of movement and human complexity into bold, rigorous, and energetic new dimensions.
