WAAPA is thrilled to welcome internationally acclaimed pianist, composer and conductor Mark Isaacs for a special performance of music from his celebrated Resurgence project. Renowned for his virtuosic command of both classical and jazz idioms, Isaacs brings a distinctive voice to contemporary jazz – one that fuses compositional complexity with profound emotional depth. In this concert, Isaacs will be joined on stage by the WAAPA Jazz students with whom he has collaborated as a visiting artist, mentoring them in rehearsal and performance.
