To celebrate WAAPA Dance's first graduation performance in the Dance Theatre at the City Campus, we honour our history by inviting two WAAPA graduates to create new works for the Contemporary Dance students. Tara Jade Samaya, returning to WAAPA after an illustrious career performing and creating in Europe and Australia, works with the 3rd Year Bachelor of Arts students and another local WAAPA alumni will create a new work for the 2nd Year cohort. Ballet Coordinator Kim McCarthy recreates various pastoral and village scenes from well-known and loved ballet repertoire.
